I have a potential offer from a company in Nashville, me and my wife are trying to find out how diverse is the population there? Any location suggestions for renting / buying home? We are moving from San Francisco and would like to know if people are as friendly and diverse as west coast or NJ. Any inputs and suggestions appreciated.

Not as diverse as west/east coast. I moved here from New York and it took me 2 years to get used to silent atmosphere and southern culture, still not happy!
