We are also in the same boat.. moving to Nashville in June and have been looking for good schools and neighborhoods.
So let me tell you what I know:
I believe Williamson county schools are very good, also have heard good things about granberry elementary school. (Are u looking for elementary or middle?)
Also in a broad sense good areas to live are Brentwood, Franklin and Bellevue.  Also depends on if you are looking for houses or apartments!!
